Why we started
Businesses and founders get burned by developers and agencies all the time. Charged a lot, delivered a half-finished build, or left with something that barely works once the invoice is paid. We started Keenan Digital because building a website, app, or piece of software properly isn't complicated. It just takes someone who sees the project through.
How we work
We don't do account managers. When you work with us, you work with the person actually building your project. That means faster decisions, clearer communication, and no lost context between handoffs.
Our process is simple: discover → design → build → launch → support. We tell you what we're doing and why. If something isn't working, we say so and adjust.
What we believe
- Code you own. No proprietary platforms or vendor lock-in. What we build is yours.
- Simple beats clever. Most software is overbuilt for the problem it solves. We build lean and maintainable.
- Working software over pretty decks. We'd rather show you something real than talk you through a slide.
- Built to last. Not thrown together to hit a deadline, and not something you'll be redoing in a year.

What we're not
We're not a full-service marketing agency. We don't do social media management, paid ads, or content marketing. We build the digital product: the website, the app, the software. If you need a campaign built around it, we're happy to work alongside whoever handles that.
Where we're based
We're based in Saint John, NB, and work with clients across Canada, the US, and the UK. Most of our work is remote. What matters is the quality of the build and the communication, not the timezone.
